How to Cleanse Your Aura at Home

Why Cleanse Your Aura?
Your aura is your energy field, the invisible light that surrounds your body. It picks up stress, negativity, and the emotions of others. After a long day, you feel heavy. That's your aura asking for a wash. In my 15 years as an oracle, I've seen countless clients who carry energy that isn't theirs.
Prepare Your Sacred Space
First, set the mood. Turn off your phone. Light a candle. Open a window if you can. The fresh air helps carry away stagnant energy. You want quiet. I always tell my clients, this is your time. No interruptions.
Take a Salt Bath
Salt is a powerful cleanser. Fill your tub with warm water and add a cup of sea salt or Himalayan salt. Soak for at least twenty minutes. As you soak, imagine the salt pulling out all the grime from your aura. You can add a few drops of lavender oil for extra calm. I've recommended this to many clients, and they always feel lighter afterwards.
Use Smoke to Clear Stagnation
If you don't have time for a bath, try smoke. You can burn sage, palo santo, or incense. Light it and let the smoke drift around your body. Start at your feet and move upward. Wave the smoke over your arms, your chest, your head. Think of it as a broom for your energy. I always keep a bundle of sage in my kitchen for quick cleanses.
Let Water Wash Away the Weight
Water is another ally. Stand under a shower and let the water stream over your crown. As the water flows, say out loud, "I release everything that is not mine." You can also wash your face with cold water, splashing it three times. Water has memory. It carries away what you let go of.
Sound Vibrations Break Up the Fog
Sound can shatter heavy energy. Use a singing bowl, a bell, or even a simple chime. Ring it near your body, starting at your head and moving down. The vibration cuts through the muck. If you don't have an instrument, hum. Humming creates a buzz that clears your field. I often hum a low note when I feel off.
Breathe in Light, Breathe Out Gray
Breath is the simplest tool. Sit comfortably, close your eyes, and inhale deeply through your nose. Picture white light coming in with each breath. Exhale through your mouth and see gray smoke leaving you. Do this ten times. I've taught this to anxious clients, and they use it before bed.
Visualize a Cleansing Flame
Finally, use your imagination. Close your eyes and picture a violet flame at your feet. Watch it rise up around your body, burning away any residue. Let it move through your legs, your torso, your arms, and your head. When the flame reaches above you, let it settle. This visualization takes two minutes and works wonders.
Finish with Grounding
After any cleanse, you need to ground yourself. Stand barefoot on the earth if you can. Or sit with your feet flat on the floor. Imagine roots growing from your feet into the ground. This connects you back to stable energy. I always end my own rituals this way. It keeps me centered.
You don't need special tools or a temple. Your home is enough. Start with one method and see how you feel. Consistency matters more than perfection. Do a small cleanse every day, even if it's just a minute of breathing. Your aura will thank you.
Blessings,
